HPOne is highly invested in the success of our agents. As such, we have developed a comprehensive curriculum to teach our agents all the things they need to know to be successful. Training begins the first day of hire, and continues throughout employment. The average new hire at HPOne receives up to 144 hours of training before moving to the sales floor. The training includes:

  • Medicare 101
  • Communication Strategies
  • HPOne systems
  • Product and process training
  • PLUS, 3 days of sales training, with a proprietary sales training curriculum that has had rave reviews from everyone who attends.

The highly interactive classroom training includes scavenger hunts, jeopardy and role plays. After graduating, the students receive ongoing training through our vast library of eLearning courses and videos, which includes best practices shared by our most successful agents.

We are committed to ensuring that our leaders have the appropriate training to guide their teams’ success. HPOne offers leadership training to all employees in supervisory positions including:

From Our Employees

  • I joined HPOne in September 2014, as administrative coordinator in the Phoenix office. I was responsible for general office management duties. While there I learned about the operational side of the business, which helped with my growth at HPOne.

    In 2016, I was promoted to a marketing manager and relocated to the Headquarters in CT, where I focus on digital marketing to generate leads for the brokerage and partners. I appreciate how the management team at HPOne gives you an opportunity to express your ideas and they really listen. There is a culture of teamwork here that is incomparable.

  • I’ve been employed full time with HPOne since 2014 where I started as a licensed sales agent. I was quickly promoted to a seasonal trainer which allowed me to share my knowledge of programs as well as HPOne’s culture with our newly hired agents.

    In October 2015 I was again promoted to a sales supervisor position. There is nothing more gratifying than assisting a new agent and providing them with the necessary tools and coaching to help them develop into a top performing producer. The company culture sets a standard for the “can-do” attitude. This is what makes us strong and successful as an organization.

    Sammi Smith – Sales Supervisor (AZ)

  • I started at HPOne in 2014 as a team lead in the Tampa office. After comprehensive training I began taking calls in order to become familiar with our products, processes and technology and soon after that began to fulfill my role as a supervisor.

    In 2015, I was transferred to the St. Petersburg office where I supervise a team of licensed agents. In my role, I guide a veteran team of agents by overseeing, coaching, facilitating and implementing a culture that promotes teamwork, learning and a desire to exceed goals.
